Welcome to the Family Renewal Program at LVRC
LVRC Family Renewal Program - Wednesday, August 24, 2011

At Las Vegas Recovery Center (LVRC) we feel that family support is a critical component of substance abuse treatment and recovery.  I have included information about our Family Renewal Program; our program is four days and is facilitated by Dr. Mel Pohl, Dr. Rob Hunter, and other staff clinicians.

Dr. Hunter, in addition to several other addiction specialists, educate and facilitate discussion with families about the disease of addiction, appropriate boundaries, effective communication, co-dependency, and enabling.  Families who attend this program report that they find it extremely helpful whether their family member is in treatment at LVRC or at another program.

The next programs will be held: October 13 - 16 | November 17 - 20 | December 15 - 18

The schedule below will provide additional information about the material to be covered.

The cost is waived for the family program if a family member is a client in treatment at our inpatient facility, LVRC, for up to two (2) family participants. If there are more than 2 family members attending, the cost is $550.

The fee for other families interested in attending is $550 up to two (2) family participants.

For any attendees from the community the fee for Family Renewal Program will be $550.00 for 2 persons, unless negotiated separately.

LVRC Family Renewal Program - Monday, June 15, 2009

We are committed to providing dignified and effective treatment of addiction for individuals and their families. We know the support of family and friends plays a significant role in the treatment process. It is our goal to have each and every client, along with his or her family members, leave our centers with a successful treatment experience, which includes education and tools to use while navigating through life’s many challenges. Together we can achieve real recovery results that will not only help individuals find freedom from active addiction, but show them and their families how to rebuild their lives and stay on the road of recovery.

About Las Vegas Recovery Center

Our specially-designed Family Renewal Program helps family members start on their own journey of discovery and recovery. The intensive four-day workshop begins with a welcome session that highlights the topics to be covered. Each day two lectures are presented by our team of addiction experts and are followed by process groups that allow family members to discuss their personal concerns, as well as ask questions about the subjects presented. These educational lectures are interactive and family participation is strongly encouraged.

We know that having a family member enter treatment is extremely stressful, but we are here to assist you while your family member is in treatment and after he or she returns home. You are not alone. Our family program can help you learn to live and enjoy life free from the confines of addiction.
